Introduction

This document provides you the steps to performing diagnostic checks for financial, logistics, and project operations in Exact Globe+.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 502 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I perform the diagnostic checks in Exact Globe+?

  1. In the Diagnose screen, define the relevant fields.
  2. Click Start.
  3. You will see a confirmation message. Click Yes to proceed, or click No to cancel.
  4. If you clicked Yes, the diagnostic check will be performed and the results will display the details of the items once the check has been completed.

Keep in mind: You will see a warning message when you open the Diagnose screen if there are active users accessing the same database.

How do I repair transactions with errors?

  1. In the Diagnose screen, run a diagnostic check.
  2. Once the check has been completed and the results are displayed, click Repair.
  3. You will see a confirmation message. Click Yes to proceed, or click No to cancel.
  4. If you clicked Yes, the repair will then be performed. You will see a notification message to indicate that the errors have been fixed.
  5. Click OK to exit, or click E-mail to email the details of the transactions, or click Log to view the details of the transactions in the Microsoft Excel format.

How do I view the log of the diagnostic checks?

  1. In the Diagnose screen, click Log.
  2. The information of the diagnostic checks will then be displayed in the Repairscreen.
